I'm wondering if perhaps it may be possible to soften the uploading policy of "only one image per 7 days" a little. I'm sure it is a lot of work to check and greenlit or decline too many submissions by too many people, especially in a group as large as this one and I very much respect and appreciate the work of the mods and admins of this group
However, with one image only per week the rate of uploading images is so slow that I am uploading images I created almost two years ago by now (and I am not trying to upload everything I ever made here). Is there any chance to allow for a bit less tight restrictions on opload frequency and / or number of uploads permitted at a time?

We can definitely take it in consideration! But it all depends on what kind of category the imagery would be fit to.
But like you said, even allowing 2 per week will double the workload we have, and knowing we all do this as a volunteer in our spare time, we really have to sit down and carefully talk about this, and this might take a while.

Rest very assured that I am not pesky about it, no matter what you decide. I appreciate your (all the admins' and mods') work on behalf of this community which should never be taken for granted
On some boards I notied there seemed to be different limits on various folders with higher restrictions on particularly frequented ones but lesser limits on those which don't usually get flodded. I have no idea though how this was done or if something like that could be implemented on every board. The advantage for artists (at least in case they drew something not so frequently posted) is that for example a series of images (e.g. if there are different parts belonging to the same project) could be posted without a long interruption.
